BYADÈLE was founded by Adèle Logan Helmers, the sixth Adèle on her mother’s side, in an effort to share her interest in the human aspect of fashion. BYADÈLE is headquartered in Berlin, Germany, where Adèle has made her home for the last three years. She loves the anthropology behind what we choose to wear: the why and the how of our choices.
The items in the collections highlight collective memory, constructed, shared, and woven into every stitch passed on from generation to generation. As an ode to the matrilineal transference of experiences that passes between generations of women, the brand is a nod to Adèle’s grandmother, whom she regards as her muse for her fashion sensibility, attention to detail, and collector's eye for the unusual.
